How to change your vibration from needy to grateful

Woman is a living prayer. Woman is constantly in a state of prayer, meaning the quality of her projection attracts corresponding events in her life. Your inner state is constantly vibrating out corresponding qualities and interacting with the Universal Magnetic Field. Those qualities are reflected back at you.

One of the most effective ways to shift your projection is to change your internal conversation from “needy” to “grateful”. Changing mental self-talk from “I don’t have”  to  “Thank you” is a tricky task and requires a hefty dose of awareness.

But here is a small trick that will help you to do just that.

Does not matter if you are doing everyday practice or not, spend 1 min everyday in feeling of gratitude. And by feeling, I mean do not jump into listing the things in your mind you are grateful for ( I am grateful for my family, I am grateful for my partner, job, etc). Instead, switch the focus on experiencing the feeling of gratitude and  enjoying the warmth at the heart center that it brings. Let this feeling and the warmth spread around you. You are grateful just because, for no specific reason. As you practice, sit and a feel how a big, huge “thank you” is rising from your heart and radiates in all directions, enveloping your entire being. Dwell in this feeling. One minute is all you need.

You might do it first thing in the morning or before going to bed. I personally, like to do it at the very end of my morning routine, after the meditation. And It is absolutely my most favorite part of the practice.

This easy and enjoyable practice can quickly alter your negative mental conversation, changing the vibration of your being to a state, where are able to attract the things that you want in your life. It is a peaceful and relaxed mode of living.

We all have our needs and wants. This means that every day provides us another opportunity to practice trust. It is an opportunity to spiritualize the matter. Trust, be patient, and remember – Universe provides. Always.

Meditation for Developing an Attitude of Gratitude (Meditation for Gurprasad)

In easy pose, cup your hands together at the heart center. Upper arms pressed against rib cage, hands are facing up. Eyes are 1/10 open or closed. The edge of right hand is touching the edge of left hand. Keep your spine straight.

Feel that something is dripping to you from the heavens: health, wealth, happiness, grace, whatever it is that you desire. As you practice this meditation, feel yourself showered by all the blessings of heaven. Fill your heart and soul with all the bounties of nature. Lower yourself into this hallucination until you start feeling it is a reality. This is a very restful posture and soon you will feel very relaxed. The subtle pressure against the meridian points in the rib cage gives immediate relaxation.
